Saida, Algeria – The Algerian government has commenced the construction of 11,000 new housing units under the AADL 3 (Location-Vente) program across several provinces. This initiative is part of a larger effort to provide affordable housing options to citizens nationwide.
The Director-General of the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADL), accompanied by the Governor of Saida Province, A’moumen Marmouri, presided over the cornerstone laying ceremony for a 2,000-unit AADL 3 housing project in the new urban center of Ouled Khaled today. This marks a significant step in the ongoing implementation of the AADL 3 program.
Since President Abdelmadjid Tebboune inaugurated the first AADL 3 project in Constantine, a total of 11,650 housing units have been allocated and are now under construction. These units are distributed as follows:
– 8,050 units in the Sissawi urban center, Constantine.
– 1,600 units in the El Bakrat urban center, Ouargla Province.
– 2,000 units in the Ouled Khaled urban center, Saida Province.
The AADL 3 program aims to address the growing demand for affordable housing and improve the living conditions of Algerian families. The government has emphasized its commitment to ensuring the timely completion and delivery of these housing units.
The overall AADL 3 program envisions the allocation of 46,000 housing units throughout the country. The launch of these projects reflects the government’s continued efforts to meet its housing goals and provide citizens with access to decent and affordable accommodation.
