President Tebboune Receives Serbian Ambassador

Algiers – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune today received the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Petkovic, at the Presidential Palace. The Ambassador paid a farewell visit to President Tebboune upon the completion of her diplomatic mission in Algeria.

The meeting, held earlier this morning, provided an opportunity for both parties to reflect on the strong bilateral relations between Algeria and Serbia. Discussions centered on the progress made in various sectors of cooperation during Ambassador Petkovic’s tenure, including economic partnerships, cultural exchange programs, and diplomatic collaboration on regional and international issues.

President Tebboune expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Petkovic’s efforts in strengthening the ties between the two nations. He highlighted the historical bonds of friendship and solidarity that have long characterized Algerian-Serbian relations. He also conveyed his best wishes to Ambassador Petkovic for her future endeavors.

Ambassador Petkovic, in turn, expressed her gratitude to President Tebboune and the Algerian government for the support and cooperation she received throughout her mission. Also present at the meeting were Boualem Boualem, the Director of the President’s Office, and Amar Abba, Advisor to the President in charge of Diplomatic Affairs. The presence of these senior officials underscores the significance Algeria places on its relationship with Serbia.
