Four Palestinians Killed in Jerusalem During November

Occupied Jerusalem: Four Palestinians, including two children, were killed by Israeli occupation forces in the Jerusalem Governorate during the month of November. This marks a significant escalation in violence in the region, according to reports received by DZWatch.

The Jerusalem Governorate also documented a series of violations perpetrated by Israeli forces throughout the month. These violations included the direct targeting of civilians, ongoing arrest campaigns, and the enforcement of restrictive measures such as imprisonment, home demolitions, evictions, and house arrests. Furthermore, repeated incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound were reported.

Authorities in Jerusalem stated that the bodies of 51 Palestinians are currently being held by Israeli authorities in morgues and numbered graves. This practice has been widely condemned by human rights organizations.

In addition to the actions of Israeli forces, the Governorate reported 60 direct attacks by settlers against Palestinians and their property. These attacks ranged from vandalism to physical assaults, contributing to a climate of fear and insecurity.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque experienced a dangerous escalation in the frequency of attacks, with 4,266 settlers storming its courtyards during the month. These incursions are often perceived as provocative and further inflame tensions in the already volatile region.

The Governorate also documented 66 arrests, including eight children and two women. The ongoing detention of Palestinians, particularly minors, remains a major concern for human rights advocates.

DZWatch continues to monitor the situation in Jerusalem and will provide further updates as they become available.
