Algiers, Algeria – University of Algiers 3 is deepening its academic partnership with Belarus, participating in the recent Algerian-Belarusian Business Forum. Professor Khaled Rouaski, Director of University of Algiers 3, and Professor Zakaria Hussein, Vice-Rector for External Relations, represented the university as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research delegation.
The forum, held at the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, coincided with the Belarusian President’s visit to Algeria and presented a valuable opportunity to foster bilateral cooperation. Key among the activities were direct business-to-business meetings, including a productive discussion with Professor Andrei Karol, President of Belarusian State University.
Discussions centered on expanding future collaborative prospects through partnership agreements. The proposed collaboration aims to facilitate the exchange of academic and research expertise, streamline student and faculty mobility programs, and pave the way for joint research projects. Belarusian State University is recognized globally for its excellence in science and technology.
The Belarusian university expressed strong support for all proposed initiatives. This partnership underscores University of Algiers 3’s commitment to strengthening international ties with leading institutions worldwide.
