Boulbina: Algeria’s Priciest Player to Watch at Arab Cup

Algiers – In a testament to the burgeoning talent within Algerian football, Adel Boulbina has emerged as the most valuable Algerian player participating in the upcoming Arab Cup 2025. His estimated market value stands at €3.2 million, placing him significantly ahead of his national teammates.

This valuation reflects the immense potential displayed by the 22-year-old forward. Boulbina enjoyed a breakthrough season with Paradou AC, where he clinched the Algerian league’s top scorer title with an impressive 22 goals in 23 matches. This stellar performance led to a record-breaking €7 million transfer to Qatari side Al-Duhail, marking the most expensive transfer from the Algerian league.

Following Boulbina in market value among Algerian players are Marco Bugatti (Al-Duhail) and Walid Azaro (Ajman FC), both valued at €2.2 million and €3.2 million respectively. Omar Khribin (Al-Wahda) holds a value of €4.5 million.

Across the Arab Cup, Qatari player Akram Afif leads the market value rankings at €8 million, followed by Tunisian player Ismail Gharbi (FC Augsburg) at €7.5 million. Saudi Arabia’s Firas Al-Buraikan (Al-Ahli) and UAE’s Nicolas Gimenez (Al-Wasl) are valued at €4.5 million and €4.2 million, respectively.

Other notable players include Morocco’s Adel Boulbina (Al-Duhail) at €3.2 million, Iraq’s Marco Bugatti at €2.2 million, Bahrain’s Ali Madan at €1.8 million, and Jordan’s Yazan Al-Naimat at €1.5 million.

Beyond the financial figures, Boulbina’s technical abilities have garnered significant attention. A FIFA panel of experts specializing in the Arab Cup has identified Boulbina as one of the top ten players to watch in the tournament, highlighting his exceptional skill set.

Boulbina’s performances with Al-Duhail in the AFC Champions League further solidify this recommendation. He recently scored a remarkable hat-trick against Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad in a historic 4-2 victory and led his team to an 8-1 thrashing of Al-Arabi SC with two goals and two assists. These displays have impressed fans and experts alike.

Boulbina combines pace, skill, and a keen eye for goal, making him a formidable attacking threat. All eyes will be on him as he represents Algeria in the Arab Cup.
