Algiers, December 4, 2025 – Fateh Boutebika, head of the El Moustakbal Front (Future Front), asserted on Thursday that mere slogans will not ensure success in the upcoming elections.
According to a statement released following a national bureau meeting chaired by Boutebika, the party leader emphasized that success in the forthcoming local and legislative elections hinges on “diligent work, discipline, genuine engagement with citizens, and presenting a realistic and responsible discourse.” He also underscored the importance of uniting ranks and prioritizing the supreme national interest.
Boutebika stressed that “a Future Front activist embodies the model of a balanced and effective politician, possessing a clear project and vision.” He called on all members to rise to the challenges and aspirations that await the ‘New Algeria’.
Furthermore, the political party reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to contributing to the construction of a strong state with robust institutions, fairness in its choices, effectiveness in its policies, and openness to the future.
The El Moustakbal Front also lauded the growing role of Algerian diplomacy, which falls under the exclusive constitutional prerogatives of the President of the Republic. The party acknowledged its proven ability to defend the nation’s principles and constants, and to champion just causes at both the regional and international levels.
The party reiterated its support for Algeria’s positions within the United Nations and the African Union, and expressed its appreciation for efforts aimed at bolstering peace and security in the region. The Future Front conveyed its pride in Algeria’s resurgence as a proactive force in regional and international affairs.
