Gaza: Casualties Reported in Alleged Israeli Strikes

Gaza Strip – Multiple Palestinians have been killed and wounded following alleged Israeli strikes in various locations across the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

Medical officials reported that three Palestinians were killed on Saturday. One of the fatalities succumbed to injuries sustained on Friday during an alleged strike near the Al-Ribat Mosque in the Beit Lahia area. Additionally, three more individuals were reportedly wounded when a drone allegedly targeted a group of civilians near the Atatra roundabout, west of Beit Lahia.

Sources claim these actions constitute a violation of the ceasefire agreement implemented on October 11th. Allegedly, residential buildings east of the Al-Tuffah and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods in Gaza City, as well as areas east of Beit Lahia in the north, the Bureij refugee camp, and the city of Rafah in the central and southern parts of the Strip, have been targeted.

Furthermore, reports indicate that an Israeli drone allegedly launched a projectile near a gas station in the Abu Akr area, east of Khan Yunis city.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire, particularly with the onset of winter. UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, stated on Saturday that “the humanitarian needs of Gaza residents are immense, including food and shelter. Parents remain fearful for the lives of their children.” The agency affirmed its commitment to working tirelessly in Gaza, while appealing for the unimpeded delivery of aid supplies.

The UN General Assembly adopted five resolutions on Friday in favor of Palestine, with a large majority voting in favor of providing assistance to Palestinian refugees and renewing UNRWA’s mandate for three years.
