Kuwait managed to pull one back in the 84th minute through a well-placed header by Yousef Nasser, but Ali Olwan sealed the victory for Jordan with a third goal from the penalty spot in injury time (90+5).
With this win, the Al-Nashama, as the Jordanian team is known, have accumulated 6 points from two matches, placing them at the top of Group C. The group also includes Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. Kuwait, on the other hand, remains with only one point.
