Housing Minister Inspects Algiers Financial Hub Project

Algiers, December 6, 2025 – The Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, conducted an inspection today of the Financial Hub project located in Sidi Moussa, Algiers. The project spans an area of 23 hectares and comprises three main sections.

Following the site visit, the Minister chaired a technical meeting bringing together various stakeholders involved in the project. During the meeting, COSIDER Engineering presented a detailed overview encompassing technical and architectural explanations, as well as the planned stages of construction.

The Minister issued directives to finalize the master plans for the first section by the end of the month. These plans should include the overall distribution of facilities and buildings, the allocation of space for each, and the precise architectural and organizational details related to this section, as well as underground networks.

Regarding the second section, Belaribi emphasized that the priority lies in identifying and integrating the various technical equipment and machinery according to the project’s needs. He stressed the importance of clearly defining the technical requirements and allocating the necessary space to accommodate them, emphasizing that priority should be given to the northern part of this section in order to commence work.

The Financial Hub project is a significant undertaking expected to boost the Algerian capital’s financial infrastructure and attract investment. Minister Belaribi’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring the timely and efficient completion of this vital project.
