LPA Housing Registration Opens December 11th

Algiers, Algeria – The National Fund for the Equalization of Social Services (FNPOS) announced today the opening of registration for subsidized housing (LPA 2) units, effective December 11th. This initiative is available to all eligible applicants.

In an official statement, FNPOS informed salaried workers and retirees affiliated with the National Social Insurance Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAS) about the opportunity to apply for LPA 2 housing. The housing units are being developed directly by FNPOS.

The fund emphasized that applications will be received exclusively through its digital platform: https://sakan.fnpos.dz. This online approach eliminates the need for citizens to visit FNPOS offices, streamlining administrative processes and modernizing services. The move aligns with the government’s commitment to digital transformation and President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s directives to improve public service and economic governance.

Currently, FNPOS’s housing program includes 2,460 units under construction across 24 provinces: Adrar, Laghouat, Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Biskra, Bechar, Tebessa, Tlemcen, Tiaret, Djelfa, Setif, Sidi Bel Abbes, Guelma, Constantine, Medea, M’Sila, Ouargla, Oran, El Tarf, Souk Ahras, Tipaza, Ain Temouchent, Ghardaia and Timimoun.

Further details regarding eligibility criteria, scoring metrics, and available housing locations can be found on the FNPOS digital platform: https://sakan.fnpos.dz. Updates are also available on the fund’s official social media pages.
