Slovak Republic – Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, held a meeting today with members of the Algerian community residing in Slovakia. The meeting took place at the Algerian Embassy in Bratislava, during his official visit to the country, undertaken on behalf of the President of the Republic.
The gathering provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue between the Minister and members of the Algerian diaspora. Minister Attaf took the opportunity to learn more about their experiences living in Slovakia and listened attentively to their concerns and priorities. He emphasized the crucial role the Algerian community plays in strengthening the human bonds between Algeria and Slovakia, and in solidifying the bridges of communication between the two nations.
During the discussions, various topics were addressed, including consular services, educational opportunities for Algerian students in Slovakia, and ways to further promote Algerian culture and heritage within the Slovak community. Minister Attaf reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting the Algerian diaspora and addressing their needs to the best of its ability.
“The Algerian community abroad is an integral part of our nation,” stated Minister Attaf. “We are committed to providing them with the necessary support and resources to thrive in their host countries while maintaining strong ties to their homeland.”
