BRATISLAVA – Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad and African Affairs, was received this evening by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, during an official visit to the Slovak Republic.
The visit, undertaken on behalf of the President of Algeria, served as an opportunity to strengthen bilateral ties and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation between Algeria and Slovakia.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the bonds of friendship and cooperation between their nations, expressing their mutual welcome for the exchange of diplomatic representation between Algeria and Slovakia. They highlighted the strong political will of both countries’ leaderships to intensify consultations at all levels, aiming to bolster the promising pace of cooperation across various strategic sectors.
Minister Attaf’s visit underscores Algeria’s commitment to strengthening its relationships with European partners and fostering mutually beneficial collaborations. The discussions held with Prime Minister Fico are expected to pave the way for increased engagement and concrete initiatives in areas of shared interest.
