Athens, December 10, 2025 – Ahmed Attaf, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, was received this morning by the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
During the meeting, Minister Attaf conveyed greetings from the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and Prime Minister Sifi Grib to his Greek counterpart.
The reception served as an opportunity for both parties to reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening the bonds of friendship and partnership between Algeria and Greece. They emphasized their mutual keenness to develop bilateral cooperation across various vital and priority sectors. This includes potential collaborations in energy, trade, and cultural exchange programs.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the level of coordination between the Algerian and Greek missions within the framework of their current membership in the United Nations Security Council. These challenges include irregular migration, climate change, and geopolitical instability.
