Minister Attaf Embarks on Key Visit to Tunisia

Tunis, Tunisia – Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, arrived in Tunis this evening for a significant visit focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Tunisia.

Minister Attaf is scheduled to co-chair, alongside his Tunisian counterpart, Mohamed Ali Nafti, the proceedings of the Algerian-Tunisian Follow-up Committee. This committee serves as a crucial mechanism for monitoring and advancing joint initiatives between the two nations.

The Follow-up Committee meeting, slated for tomorrow, is specifically designed to prepare for the 23rd session of the Grand Joint Algerian-Tunisian Commission for Bilateral Cooperation. This high-level commission is scheduled to convene on December 12, 2025.

The upcoming session of the Grand Joint Commission will be co-chaired by Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Gharib and Tunisian Head of Government, Sara Zaafarani. This underscores the importance both governments place on deepening their strategic partnership.
