Thunderstorm Alert Issued for Southern Provinces

Algiers, DZWatch – The national meteorological services have issued a Level 1 (Yellow) alert for several southern provinces of Algeria, warning of potential heavy rainfall and thunderstorm activity. The alert, released earlier today, Friday, indicates that specific regions are at risk of experiencing adverse weather conditions.

According to the weather advisory, the provinces of Beni Abbes, Bechar, and Tindouf are expected to receive significant rainfall. In addition to the rainfall, the provinces of Beni Abbes, Timimoun, Adrar, Bechar, and Tindouf are also under alert for active thunderstorms.

Furthermore, the meteorological services have indicated that additional provinces may experience thunderstorm activity. These provinces include Ouargla, El Meniaa, and Ain Salah. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and stay informed about weather updates.
