Tunisian Prime Minister Sara Zaafarani Zenzri praised Algeria’s profound structural and institutional reforms spearheaded by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Her remarks came during the 23rd session of the Algerian-Tunisian Joint High Commission for Cooperation, co-chaired with the Algerian Prime Minister, Sifi Grib.
Zaafarani Zenzri highlighted the significant economic and developmental momentum within Algeria, asserting that every achievement in either Algeria or Tunisia contributes fundamentally to economic and social integration, fostering a robust partnership between the two nations. She emphasized that the ongoing major development projects are strengthening the path towards building a ‘New Algeria’.
The Tunisian Prime Minister described the session as a crucial milestone for monitoring achievements across various cooperation domains, evaluating progress, and exploring new avenues to enhance collaboration. She believes this will provide the bilateral partnership with greater efficiency and speed of implementation.
Zaafarani Zenzri expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics characterizing bilateral cooperation in recent years, affirming that tangible results reflect the shared and sincere will of both countries to pursue genuine integration across all levels. She also commended the alignment of perspectives between Algeria and Tunisia on numerous regional and international issues.
She noted that continuous coordination and consultation between the leaderships of both countries form a vital foundation for strengthening bilateral relations. In this context, the Tunisian Prime Minister emphasized the importance of close consultation regarding developments in the Euro-Mediterranean region, as this plays a crucial role in formulating joint solutions that safeguard the interests of both brotherly nations.
