Algiers – Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Abdelhak Saihi, has affirmed the commitment to elevate the National Labor Institute into a leading center for specialized training. This transformation will leverage digitalization as a key instrument to modernize the labor system and enhance public training services, according to a statement released by the ministry on Saturday.
Minister Saihi emphasized the crucial role of the institute in providing high-quality training programs that align with the evolving demands of the job market. He highlighted the importance of integrating digital technologies into all aspects of the institute’s operations, from curriculum development to training delivery and assessment.
“The adoption of digitalization is not merely a technological upgrade; it is a strategic imperative to ensure that our workforce is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the modern economy,” stated Minister Saihi. He further added that the ministry is dedicated to providing the necessary resources and support to facilitate the institute’s digital transformation.
The initiative aims to create a more efficient, accessible, and relevant training system that meets the needs of both employers and employees. By embracing digital tools, the National Labor Institute will be able to offer a wider range of training programs, reach a larger audience, and provide more personalized learning experiences.
The ministry’s statement underscored the government’s commitment to investing in human capital development as a key driver of economic growth and social progress. The transformation of the National Labor Institute is a significant step towards achieving this goal and ensuring that Algeria’s workforce remains competitive in the global marketplace.
