Algiers, December 13, 2025 – Louisa Hanoune, the Secretary-General of the Workers’ Party, stated today that the so-called “MAK” is a foreign group alien to Algeria, having sold itself to the Zionist entity, the proxies of the Emirati entity, and the Moroccan Makhzen, all of whom seek to sabotage Algeria and sow discord.
Speaking at the party’s national headquarters, Hanoune clarified that the group’s endeavor to establish a “Kabyle state” falls within the framework of the “American Greater and New Middle East” plan, aimed at dismantling all nations from Pakistan to Mauritania.
The Workers’ Party leader added that the citizens in the Kabylie region are the least of this group’s concerns. According to her, their true objective in Algeria is the underground wealth located in the Great South, as well as the infrastructure, such as roads, that facilitate the transportation of these resources.
“Despite the fact that this clique has no real support within Algerian society in general, and particularly in the Kabylie region,” the Secretary-General added, “we must not ignore this plan, even if it has no legal basis, because its efforts amount to blackmailing the Algerian state to obtain concessions in the economic, military, and foreign policy spheres.”
