The affected provinces include: Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, El Bayadh, Naama, Bechar, Beni Abbes, and Tindouf. A second weather alert has been issued for another set of provinces, indicating thunderstorms commencing at 6:00 PM this evening, Sunday, and lasting until dawn on Monday. This alert covers the following provinces: Ouargla, El Menia, Touggourt, El Oued, Ghardaia, Tamanrasset, In Guezzam, and Bordj Badji Mokhtar. Similar to the first alert, residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions.
Authorities are urging citizens in the affected areas to stay informed about the latest weather updates and to avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rainfall.
