The Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City has announced significant progress in the AADL 3 housing program, as part of ongoing efforts to facilitate access to housing and promote national development. The Ministry highlighted the allocation of 20,000 AADL 3 housing units in the Sidi Halou urban center in Boumerdès province.
Nationwide, a total of 50,000 housing units have been allocated to date, with the Ministry projecting a total of 61,000 units by the end of the year. In a move designed to further ease the financial burden on prospective homeowners, the Ministry, acting through the AADL agency, will now allow registered AADL 3 beneficiaries to pay the initial installment in two phases.
This decision, made under the directives of the President of the Republic, aims to provide registrants with sufficient time and flexibility to complete the payment process. The first installment is set at DZD 343,000 for three-room apartments and DZD 431,500 for four-room apartments. Beneficiaries will have a period of three months to complete both phases of the initial payment.
“This division applies to all three and four-room apartments,” stated a Ministry representative. “The goal of these measures is to facilitate access to housing and provide registrants with greater flexibility in fulfilling their financial obligations.” The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to streamlining the housing acquisition process and ensuring that citizens have access to decent and affordable housing options.
This initiative is expected to significantly benefit thousands of Algerian families aspiring to own their homes.
