Algiers – Minister of Communication, Zouheir Bouamama, held a meeting today, Monday, December 15, 2025, with prominent Lebanese media personality and former Minister of Information, George Kordahi. Mr. Kordahi paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry headquarters.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for both parties to exchange perspectives on the current state of the media landscape, particularly amidst the rapid transformations occurring globally. Key discussions centered on the crucial role of media outlets in disseminating accurate and reliable information.
Emphasis was placed on the media’s responsibility in addressing both national and international issues with professionalism, objectivity, and a strong sense of accountability.
Furthermore, the discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening ethical standards within the media profession. Both Minister Bouamama and Mr. Kordahi underscored the role of responsible and informed media discourse in fostering positive values within society.
