Zarouki Convenes Meeting to Secure Telecom Services for Gara Djebilet

Algiers – Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sid Ali Zarouki, chaired a coordination meeting with various institutions affiliated with the sector. The meeting focused on securing telecommunications services and supporting preparations related to the entry into service of the Gara Djebilet project, according to a statement released by the ministry on Tuesday.

The meeting underscored the government’s commitment to providing robust and reliable communication infrastructure to support the ambitious Gara Djebilet iron ore mining project. This initiative is considered a cornerstone of Algeria’s economic diversification strategy.

Minister Zarouki emphasized the critical role of telecommunications in ensuring the smooth operation and efficient management of the mine.
