Severe Thunderstorms Forecast Across Multiple Algerian Provinces

DZWatch Exclusive: The national weather service has issued a warning for severe thunderstorms impacting several provinces across Algeria. Heavy rainfall is expected, with accumulations potentially exceeding 70mm in localized areas.

The provinces most affected by this weather disturbance include El Bayadh, Laghouat, Djelfa, Ghardaia, and El Menia. Rainfall is predicted to continue until Friday at 6:00 AM.

A special weather bulletin further indicates that Tiaret, Saida, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tlemcen, and Naama will also experience rainfall, with accumulations ranging between 20mm and 40mm. This period of rainfall is expected to begin today, Wednesday, at 6:00 PM and last until Friday at 3:00 AM.

Furthermore, rainfall between 20mm and 30mm is anticipated in northern Tamanrasset and Ain Salah, commencing tomorrow, Thursday, at 3:00 AM and continuing until 3:00 PM.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions and stay informed about the evolving weather conditions. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates as needed.
