Algeria to Debut at Kings World Cup 2026

Algiers – Algeria is set to make its inaugural appearance at the Kings World Cup in 2026, marking a significant step for the nation in this burgeoning global competition. The tournament, a blend of traditional football and digital entertainment, will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, from January 3rd to 17th, 2026.

The Kings World Cup, organized by Kings League, will feature 20 national teams from across the globe, including four representatives from the Arab world. Alongside Algeria, the Arab contingent includes Saudi Arabia, with their captain yet to be announced, Qatar, led by the renowned YouTuber Abu Falla, and Morocco, captained by Ilias El Maliki, who will be participating for the second consecutive time.

During a recent global press conference, Kings League founder Gerard Piqué, along with Brazilian football legends Ronaldo Nazário and Kaká, lauded the performance of Arab teams in previous editions of both the Kings Cup and the Arab Kings League. Piqué expressed optimism for an even stronger showing in 2026, anticipating the emergence of new talents, including those from Algeria.

The Kings World Cup also features several global football icons as symbolic captains for various teams, including Robert Lewandowski, Neymar da Silva, Sergio Agüero, James Rodríguez, Wesley Sneijder, and Arturo Vidal.
