Thunderstorms Forecast for Northern Algeria Saturday

DZWatch can confirm that Algeria’s northern regions are bracing for thunderstorms tomorrow, Saturday. According to meteorological reports, a significant portion of the northern provinces will experience rainfall and potentially severe weather.

The affected provinces include: El Tarf, Annaba, Skikda, Jijel, Souk Ahras, Guelma, Constantine, Mila, Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, M’Sila, Djelfa, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Bouira, Medea, Blida, Algiers, Tipaza, Ain Defla, Tissemsilt, Chlef, Relizane, Mostaganem, Oran, and Tlemcen.

Temperatures in the coastal areas are expected to range between 14 and 18 degrees Celsius. Inland regions will experience cooler temperatures, fluctuating between 6 and 15 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds may reach up to 50 kilometers per hour in some areas.

Southern regions, in contrast, will see partly cloudy skies. Temperatures in the south are predicted to range from 14 to 28 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds reaching a maximum of 30 kilometers per hour.
