Algeria Streamlines University Registration for Palestinian Students

Algiers – The Algerian government, in coordination with the Palestinian Embassy, has implemented new measures to facilitate the university registration process for Palestinian students. The initiative aims to address technical and administrative challenges encountered by students using the PROGRES platform.

The Palestinian Embassy in Algeria, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, initiated the move on December 18, 2025, to improve support for Palestinian students enrolled in Algerian universities. This collaborative effort seeks to ensure a smoother and more efficient registration experience.

Specifically, the embassy’s cultural and educational affairs sections are now accepting applications from students facing difficulties with the PROGRES platform, which is used for university services and accommodation. The goal is to resolve these issues and enable students to continue their studies without interruption.

The embassy’s educational mission has urged students experiencing registration problems to submit their documentation exclusively via email to the designated address for the educational mission. This streamlined approach is designed to expedite the processing of applications.

The deadline for submitting applications is December 28, 2025, according to the Palestinian Embassy. Students must include a written letter explaining the specific issue they are facing, a copy of their student card, and a copy of their registration certificate for the 2025/2026 academic year.

These measures are intended to streamline administrative procedures and effectively address the needs of Palestinian students studying in Algeria. The collaborative effort underscores Algeria’s commitment to supporting Palestinian students and fostering a positive educational environment.
