Algiers, December 20, 2025 – CNAB Bank (Caisse Nationale d’Épargne et de Prévoyance – Banque) announced today the launch of a new loan product specifically designed for subscribers to the AADL 3 (Agence d’Amélioration et de Développement du Logement) subsidized housing program. This loan aims to fully finance the personal contribution required from applicants.
According to a statement released by the public bank, the loan will feature a subsidized interest rate of 1%. It is available to AADL subscribers who are either employed or retired, under the age of 70, and have a net monthly income ranging from DZD 24,000 to six times the national minimum wage. The maximum loan term is 25 years, contingent upon direct deposit of salaries or pensions into a CNAB Bank account.
The bank clarified that loan disbursements will be made in tranches, corresponding to payment requests. CNAB Bank emphasizes that this new financial product reflects its commitment to facilitating access to housing and providing appropriate financial solutions to Algerians participating in the AADL program.
This initiative follows an announcement last week by the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, Tarek Belaribi, regarding the initial installment amounts for AADL 3 housing units. The first tranche is set at DZD 343,000 for three-room apartments and DZD 431,500 for four-room apartments.
Minister Belaribi also stated that, following instructions from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, registered applicants will be permitted to pay the first installment in two phases over a period of three months. This measure aims to provide subscribers with sufficient time to complete the payment process smoothly.
