US Justice Dept. to Release All Trump-Related Epstein Files

The United States Department of Justice will release all materials pertaining to President Donald Trump found within the files of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. This announcement was made on Sunday by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch.

Speaking to NBC News, Blanch clarified that any and all documents mentioning Trump within the Epstein files will be made public. He emphasized that the President “has nothing to hide” regarding the matter. According to Blanch, photos and documents related to anyone named in the Epstein files, including Trump, will be released, with the exception of identifying information of surviving victims.

Blanch noted that images of some women who were victims of Epstein’s sex trafficking ring and are still alive were identified within the files that were published a few days prior. He clarified that the removal of these images had “absolutely nothing to do” with President Trump and was done at the request of the victims’ attorneys.

Several US media outlets reported on Saturday that 16 files, including images purportedly featuring Trump, had been removed from the Department of Justice website. In response, the Department of Justice issued a statement saying, “With the receipt of additional information, photos and other materials will continue to be reviewed in accordance with the law and will be redacted or withheld as necessary.”

Jeffrey Epstein, an American financier, was accused of running a vast sex trafficking ring involving underage girls, some as young as 14. He was found dead in a New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial. His case files have implicated numerous high-profile figures including Britain’s Prince Andrew, former President Bill Clinton, President Donald Trump, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, the late singer Michael Jackson, and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
