Algiers – The Ministers of Trade have jointly established a strategic roadmap aimed at bolstering support for national producers. This initiative seeks to enhance the competitiveness of Algerian goods and foster economic growth.
The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamal Rezig, and the Minister of Internal Trade and Regulation of the National Market, Amal Abdelatif, today visited the Algerian Production Exhibition. The visit underscored the government’s commitment to promoting domestic products and driving the dynamics of production, marketing, and export.
During their tour, the ministers inspected various pavilions at the exhibition, closely examining the diversity and quality of the products on display. They engaged with numerous participating economic operators, listening to their concerns and aspirations, particularly regarding streamlining marketing procedures and expanding export opportunities.
The ministers emphasized the government’s dedication to supporting and encouraging economic actors. This support aims to strengthen national production, improve the competitiveness of Algerian products in both domestic and international markets, and boost exports. These efforts are aligned with the broader goals of economic development and safeguarding the purchasing power of citizens.
DZWatch will continue to monitor the implementation of this roadmap and its impact on the Algerian economy. The government’s focus on supporting local producers is seen as a key element in diversifying the economy and reducing reliance on imports.
