Government Focuses on Digitalization, Specialized Education

Algiers – Prime Minister Sifi Ghrib chaired a government meeting today, Tuesday, dedicated to reviewing preliminary drafts of key legislative texts. The meeting centered on advancing digitalization efforts and improving specialized education for children with special needs.

According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s office, the government examined a preliminary draft law outlining the general rules governing the field of digitalization. This legislation aims to establish a comprehensive framework for the country’s digital transformation, encompassing various sectors and promoting technological advancements.

Furthermore, the meeting addressed a preliminary draft decree that defines the conditions for the establishment, organization, operation, and control of private institutions for specialized education and training. These institutions cater to children with intellectual disabilities and other special needs.

The draft decree seeks to ensure high-quality education and care for vulnerable children, providing them with the necessary support and resources to reach their full potential. This includes setting standards for staff qualifications, curriculum development, and infrastructure requirements.
