Algiers – Algeria and Kazakhstan are exploring a strategic industrial partnership, signaling a commitment to strengthen bilateral cooperation. Discussions took place on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, during a meeting between Algerian Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir, and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Algeria, Anuarbek Akhmetov, at the Ministry headquarters.
The meeting highlights the growing momentum in Algerian-Kazakh relations, particularly following Akhmetov’s appointment as Kazakhstan’s first ambassador to Algeria. This diplomatic milestone underscores a mutual desire to elevate economic ties and unlock diverse avenues for collaboration.
