Blida, Algeria – December 23, 2025 – The province of Blida has significantly enhanced its security infrastructure with the inauguration of two new security facilities. The ceremony, held Tuesday morning, was overseen by the Director of the Judicial Police of the National General Directorate of National Security, representing the Director-General.
The newly commissioned facilities include the headquarters of the Second Rapid Intervention Battalion in Meftah, and the new headquarters of the Provincial Judicial Police Service in Blida.
These additions represent a strategic reinforcement of the National Security apparatus. The initiative underscores a commitment to safeguarding citizens and their property, and to combating crime in all its forms. A particular focus will be placed on addressing urban crime through an increased and more visible security presence in the field.
Officials stated that the new facilities are equipped with the latest technology and resources, enabling law enforcement personnel to respond more effectively to incidents and to conduct investigations with greater efficiency.
