Mandatory Digital Test for Vocational Training Teachers

Algiers – The Ministry of Vocational Training and Education has announced a mandatory digital test for teachers involved in competency-based approaches. According to an official correspondence, numbered 1256/قم وت ت م/م م ب/م ف ت م/2025 and dated December 22, 2025, the ministry’s Directorate of Human Resources, specifically the Sub-Directorate of Trainer Training, has instructed regional directors of vocational training and education to nominate 30 of their most qualified teachers to participate in a training course focused on competency-based learning.

These selected teachers are required to undergo a specialized digital assessment. The test, accessible through the online platform at https://apc.takwin.dz, is designed to evaluate their understanding and application of competency-based methodologies. The deadline for completing the test is 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

Furthermore, the ministry has emphasized the importance of submitting the names of the chosen teachers via email to at@mfep.gov.dz. Regional directors are urged to ensure strict adherence to the instructions outlined in the correspondence.

Important Note for Participants: The Ministry advises participating teachers to create an individual account upon accessing the online platform. It also stresses that the initial test attempt will be a key factor in the overall evaluation process.

This move underscores the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing the quality of vocational training by equipping educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement competency-based approaches. The results of this digital assessment will likely inform future training initiatives and resource allocation within the vocational training and education sector.
