The Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Said Chengriha, has extended his deepest condolences following the death of Brigadier General Mohamed Ben Dida. The deceased served as an inspector within the Directorate of External Relations and Cooperation at the Ministry of National Defense. Brigadier General Ben Dida passed away on Wednesday.
Lieutenant General Chengriha conveyed his most sincere expressions of sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, as well as to all members of the People’s National Army. In a statement released earlier today, the Chief of Staff expressed his profound sadness at the loss of a dedicated officer.
“It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of Brigadier General Mohamed Ben Dida,” the statement read. “His commitment to service and his contributions to the Directorate of External Relations and Cooperation were invaluable. He will be remembered as a dedicated and respected member of the People’s National Army.”
Lieutenant General Chengriha prayed to Almighty God to grant the deceased His mercy, to grant him spacious Paradise, and to grant his family beautiful patience and solace in this difficult time. The People’s National Army joins in mourning the loss of Brigadier General Ben Dida and recognizes his contributions to the defense of the nation.
