Teacher Recruitment: Applicants Urged to Review Files

Algiers, DZWatch – Education directorates across the nation are calling on all candidates who have registered online for the national teacher recruitment competition to meticulously review their applications. This urgent appeal applies to those seeking positions at all three educational levels: primary, middle, and secondary.

Candidates are instructed to access their personal accounts on the Ministry of National Education’s digital platform to verify whether their applications have been accepted or rejected. Education directorates, in official instructions, emphasize that this proactive step is crucial to avoid disqualification due to errors or omissions that can still be rectified.

Applicants whose files have been rejected for any reason are permitted to modify information, correct data, and upload any missing documents indicated in the rejection section. This must be completed before the registration deadline of January 6th, allowing candidates to regularize their status and secure their right to participate in the competition.

The directorates highlight that these measures align with the Ministry of National Education’s commitment to transparency, equality, and digitization, ensuring fair processing of all applications and preventing unnecessary exclusions. The education sector remains a significant employer of university graduates annually, offering ample job opportunities and contributing to the employment of national talent.

The Ministry of National Education recently unveiled the competition timeline, with the final list of accepted candidates scheduled to be announced on January 30th. Oral interviews are slated for February 21st, and successful candidates will be appointed during the 2026/2027 academic year.

This proactive approach aims to streamline the recruitment process and ensure that all qualified candidates have a fair opportunity to compete for teaching positions.
