National team coach Vladimir Petkovic has acknowledged the significant challenge that awaits Algeria in their upcoming match against Burkina Faso. Speaking ahead of the crucial second-round encounter, Petkovic emphasized the physical strength and cohesive teamwork displayed by the Burkinabe squad.
During a pre-match press conference, Petkovic stressed the importance of Algeria’s mental fortitude. “We respect our opponent,” he stated, “They possess both strengths and weaknesses, as is the case with any team.” He added that the team has been working diligently to correct errors identified after their first match.
