Doha, Qatar – Qatar Charity has announced it reached approximately 21 million people in 70 countries through its humanitarian interventions, development projects, and social welfare programs in 2025.
In a statement released today, the organization highlighted the implementation of over 14,000 development projects with a total cost of nearly 925 million Qatari Riyals. These projects benefitted more than 11 million individuals across various sectors.
The projects spanned a wide range of areas. Food security initiatives numbered 1,489, impacting 17,490 people. Education and cultural projects accounted for 1,551, reaching 280,000 individuals. Economic empowerment programs comprised 1,825 projects, benefiting 43,000 people. Furthermore, 432 social welfare projects aided 32,124 individuals, and 286 social housing projects provided support to 33,688 people.
Qatar Charity also implemented 160 health-related projects, reaching over 7.8 million people, and 8,233 water and sanitation projects, benefiting more than 2.3 million. In addition, 29 multi-service centers served 400,835 individuals.
On the humanitarian front, Qatar Charity carried out 391 interventions, assisting nearly 10 million people at a cost exceeding 645 million Qatari Riyals. These interventions included comprehensive relief efforts, food supplies, shelter and non-food items, education, health, water and sanitation, social cohesion, livelihood support, and food aid distribution.
A significant focus of Qatar Charity’s humanitarian operations was on regions affected by crises and disasters, particularly the Gaza Strip. The organization implemented 61 humanitarian interventions in Palestine, with a strong focus on Gaza, reaching approximately 5 million people at a cost of 346 million Riyals. These efforts included aid delivered via land bridge, with hundreds of trucks carrying tents and relief supplies from Qatar to Jordan and Egypt, and then into the Gaza Strip.
