According to a statement released by the Civil Protection services, they responded to an emergency call at 5:54 PM local time reporting cases of suffocation inside the residence. Upon arrival, first responders discovered three deceased individuals: two men and one woman, all belonging to the same family.

The cause of death was determined to be carbon monoxide poisoning, stemming from a faulty heating appliance within the home.

The bodies have been transported to the morgue at the local hospital. This incident serves as a somber reminder of the dangers associated with improper use and maintenance of heating systems, particularly during the colder months.
