Attaf Engages in African Union Peace and Security Council Meeting

Algiers – Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Attaf participated in a ministerial meeting of the African Union’s Peace and Security Council (PSC) today, Monday. The meeting was convened via video conference, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The discussions centered on pressing matters related to peace and security across the African continent. Participants addressed ongoing conflicts, emerging threats, and strategies for conflict prevention and resolution. Minister Attaf reiterated Algeria’s commitment to supporting African-led initiatives aimed at fostering stability and security within the region.
