Algiers – The Ministry of Industry today launched a new digital platform designed to monitor recovered assets. The launch ceremony, held at the ministry headquarters, was overseen by Minister of Industry, Yahya Bachir, and attended by key stakeholders and representatives from relevant sectors.
This initiative aligns with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s directives to modernize public administration, enhance digitalization, promote transparency, and improve coordination mechanisms among various sectors involved in the management of recovered assets. The platform aims to streamline the tracking process and ensure efficient management of these assets.
The Inspector General of the Ministry of Industry has been tasked with overseeing the implementation and operation of the new platform. This oversight will ensure optimal utilization, standardized processing procedures, and real-time, accurate monitoring of the status of recovered assets.
Minister Bachir emphasized that this initiative underscores the ministry’s commitment to good governance and the support of digital transformation as a strategic imperative for improving public performance. “This platform represents a significant step forward in our efforts to ensure accountability and transparency in the management of state assets,” he stated.
The platform is expected to enhance the efficiency of asset management, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and provide a centralized system for tracking the progress of recovered assets from various sectors. It also aims to foster better collaboration and information sharing among government agencies involved in the recovery and management process.
The Ministry of Industry believes that this digital tool will contribute significantly to the overall economic development of the nation by ensuring the effective utilization of recovered assets for the benefit of the Algerian people.
