Djelfa, Algeria – A tragic incident in the Djelfa province has claimed the lives of two young individuals due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The incident occurred in the El Gandoz neighborhood of Hassi Bahbah municipality.
According to local Civil Protection services, they responded to an emergency call at 9:54 AM local time. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders discovered two individuals suffering from acute carbon monoxide poisoning. The source of the deadly gas was traced back to a faulty heating system within the residence.
Unfortunately, despite the swift response, both victims succumbed to the effects of the gas. The deceased, identified as being 25 and 27 years old, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their bodies have been transferred to the morgue at the local hospital for further procedures.
