Beni Abbes Accident: Injured Flown to Military Hospital

Beni Abbes, December 7, 2025 – Ten individuals injured in a tragic traffic accident in Beni Abbes province have been swiftly transported to the Ain Naadja Military Hospital for urgent medical treatment, according to the Ministry of National Defense.

The accident, involving a passenger bus, occurred on Saturday, December 6, 2025, resulting in the loss of 14 lives, including two members of the People’s National Army (ANP). In response to the devastating event, and following the instructions of Lieutenant General Said Chengriha, Chief of Staff of the ANP, a rapid medical evacuation was initiated.

A statement released by the Ministry of National Defense confirmed that ten injured individuals, comprising six members of the ANP and four civilians, were airlifted to the Central Army Hospital in Ain Naadja, located in the First Military Region. This swift action ensures that the injured receive the necessary medical care and attention.

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to providing comprehensive support to both military personnel and civilians affected by this tragedy. The Ain Naadja Military Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by highly skilled medical professionals, ensuring the best possible treatment for the injured.
