Marrakech, DZWatch – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the officiating team for the highly anticipated quarter-final match between Algeria and Nigeria in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The crucial encounter, scheduled to take place this Saturday at the Marrakech Stadium, will be overseen by a Senegalese refereeing crew. Issa Sy will serve as the center referee, bringing his experience to this pivotal match. He will be assisted by compatriots Djibril Camara as the first assistant referee and Nouha Bangoura as the second assistant referee.
Adding to the international flavor of the officiating team, Gilbert Kipkoech Cheruiyot from Kenya will act as the third assistant referee, while his fellow countryman, Peter Waweru Kamaku, will serve as the fourth official. The match is scheduled to kick off at 17:00 Algerian time.
