Algiers – Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, Soraya Moulaoui, presided over a special celebration yesterday in Algiers, marking the Amazigh New Year, Yennayer 2976. The event was organized for the benefit of elderly residents and children residing in institutions affiliated with the national solidarity sector.
Minister Moulaoui shared the festive atmosphere of the Amazigh New Year with the senior citizens and children in a warm and familial environment. The celebration was attended by representatives from national bodies, parliamentarians, local authorities, and members of civil society.
The event highlighted the rich Amazigh cultural heritage. Gifts were distributed to the elderly and children present, bringing joy to all those in attendance.
