Speaker of Parliament Assigns Responsibilities to Nine Deputies

The Speaker of Algeria’s National People’s Assembly, Khalida Boufdash, assigned official responsibilities on Wednesday to nine deputy speakers, in accordance with Articles 10 and 17 of the Parliament’s internal regulations.

According to a statement from the Assembly, Belkacem Ahmed Badr El Islam was tasked with overseeing legislative and parliamentary activities, while Amin Allouche will be responsible for monitoring relations between the National People’s Assembly, the Council of the Nation, the government, and other institutions.

Smaili Slimane has been assigned to follow up on matters related to Members of Parliament, whereas Messnadi Belkacem will handle public relations. Mundhir Boudane has been entrusted with supervising the Assembly’s external and diplomatic activities.

In addition, Hadj Hani Ibrahim will oversee issues related to culture, media, communication, and training. Meanwhile, Tati Mohamed, Ibrahimi Rabah, and Naïti Saïda have been appointed to manage administrative and financial affairs within the Assembly.

These assignments aim to streamline the functioning of Parliament and ensure effective coordination across its various activities and responsibilities.
