Bus Crash in Constantine Leaves 6 Dead and 19 Injured

A tragic bus accident in Constantine Province on Thursday has resulted in six fatalities and 19 injuries, according to Algeria’s Civil Protection services, as rescue operations remain ongoing.
The incident occurred at حوالي 05:19 a.m. when a passenger bus veered off the road, overturned, and fell down a slope along National Road No. 79, heading نحو Mila, in the municipality and district of Ibn Ziad.
Emergency teams quickly intervened at the scene, providing first aid to the injured before transferring them urgently to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
Authorities confirmed that operations are still underway, with rescue teams continuing efforts to manage the situation and ensure all victims receive necessary medical care.
The accident adds to growing concerns over road safety, as officials continue to urge caution and stricter adherence to traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies.
