US Revokes 100,000 Visas, Initiates Mass Deportation Campaign

The United States Department of State has announced the revocation of over 100,000 visas, signaling a significant shift in immigration policy. This large-scale action is being described as a comprehensive effort to bolster the safety and security of American citizens. The move reflects a return to a more stringent approach to immigration enforcement.

According to an official statement, the visa revocations affect various categories of individuals. Approximately 8,000 student visas and 2,500 visas held by specialists have been cancelled. The common thread among those affected is a history of interaction with law enforcement or involvement in criminal activities. The Department of State has emphasized that deportation operations will continue relentlessly to prevent any potential threats.

Further emphasizing enhanced oversight, Deputy State Department Spokesperson Tommy Pigott unveiled the launch of a new “Continuous Vetting Center.” This center is designed to monitor foreign nationals within the United States in real-time, ensuring their full compliance with US laws. Pigott stated that the core mission of the center is to swiftly revoke the visas of any individual deemed a threat, highlighting that possessing a visa no longer guarantees residency if violations occur.

Observers suggest that the substantial number of visa revocations could be the beginning of a new phase in immigration enforcement. In addition to the mass deportations, the US administration has reportedly adopted stricter policies, including expanded screening of immigrants’ social media activity.

The administration has also revoked visas of individuals already residing in the United States based on updated security assessments. Furthermore, stringent screening standards are being applied to applicants from specific countries. The State Department’s statement, “We will continue to deport these criminals to protect America’s security,” encapsulates the direction of future actions. The United States appears to be moving towards closing immigration loopholes and focusing on comprehensive security vetting for all foreign nationals within its borders.
