Algiers, January 15, 2026 – The Public Prosecutor for the Economic and Financial Division of the Sidi M’hamed Court has issued a public appeal concerning a significant case of fraud and deception.
The appeal specifically targets individuals who may have fallen victim to the alleged fraudulent activities perpetrated by one Mohamed Shahi.
According to the official statement, “In accordance with the judicial authorization issued by the Public Prosecutor for the Economic and Financial Division of the Sidi M’hamed Court, a public appeal is being made to all individuals who have been victims of fraud, deception, and related offenses allegedly committed against them by Mohamed Shahi, born on May 22, 1987, in Hussein Dey, residing in the CMB neighborhood, Haoudh El Achour Road, Algiers.”
The Public Prosecutor urges any such victims to come forward. “Those who believe they have been defrauded by Mohamed Shahi are requested to contact the judicial police at the Central Service for Combating Organized Crime in Saoula, or present themselves before the office of the Public Prosecutor at the Economic and Financial Division of the Sidi M’hamed Court,” the statement continues.
