Prime Minister Attends Quran Recitation Competition Finale

Algiers, Algeria – Prime Minister Sifi Gharib presided over the closing ceremony of the International Competition for the Algeria Prize for Memorization and Recitation of the Holy Quran. The event, held at the Djamaa El-Djazaïr (Great Mosque of Algiers) on Thursday evening, marked the culmination of the competition’s 21st edition and coincided with the commemoration of Laylat al-Isra wal-Miraj (the Night Journey and Ascension).

The Prime Minister attended the ceremony on behalf of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The annual competition draws participants from across the globe, showcasing exceptional talent in Quranic memorization and recitation.
