Kampala, Uganda – Yoweri Museveni has secured another term as President of Uganda, according to official results released by the Ugandan Electoral Commission. The announcement confirms Museveni’s continued leadership, marking nearly four decades in power.

The official results indicate that Museveni garnered 71.65% of the vote. Opposition candidate Bobi Wine reportedly secured 24.72% of the vote. The election has been described as pivotal due to Museveni’s extended tenure and the growing influence of the opposition.
